Welcome to NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE. Won't you come on in? Glad you've found the place where you can learn bridge, one of the world's most popular card games. If you are looking for fun, friends, and a lifelong challenge, NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE is where you belong.
NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE is an independent bridge academy that offers instruction year-round in all aspects of bridge - bidding, conventions, play of the hand and defense. From brand new beginners to aspiring tournament players, there is a series of lessons designed just for you. Players with previous bridge experience can also enjoy the chance to "brush up" at NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE. You can bring your own partner or meet new partners in class.
Located in Aptos Village, with easy freeway access and plenty of free parking, NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE is a comfortable, convenient setting where you can meet new friends at weekly lessons and games and work together to learn, practice and perfect your bridge skills. All classes are taught by ACBL-accredited bridge instructors who are also Life Masters. We use nationally-known bridge texts as course materials.
In addition to classes for beginners, advanced beginners, intermediates and tournament players, NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE also offers multiple opportunities each week to stop by and practice your new bridge skills with other students. This "practice-play" is supervised and free for our students. Lots of individual attention and personal encouragement is given to each student, and your questions will be gladly answered in class or via e-mail.
The weekly fee is $10, which includes as many lessons, classes or practice-play sessions you wish to attend from Sunday to Sunday. First-time students receive a FREE lesson. NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE guarantees that you will satisfactorily learn the basics of bridge during the session.
NANCY'S BRIDGE HOUSE celebrates our Bidding (Beginner I) students' progress at the end of the first series with a graduation ceremony and a complimentary party or barbecue. All other classes enjoy parties and scored games at course-end.

SUMMER QUARTER CLASSES BEGIN WEEK OF JULY 11
Our summer classes are filling up quickly. I am delighted with the turn-out for my first Sunday CUEBIDS, REBIDS, ETC. class of the summer, which is designed for advancing duplicate players. Many of our NBH students attended the first lesson to learn all about tournament strategy as they prepare to compete in the upcoming Monterey 299'er Sectional Tournament the weekend of July 24-25. Our Monday night 99'er GAME this week was a lively event, with almost all the tables filled with students who were happy to return after our two-week break. My phone has been ringing off the hook with brand new people responding to our newspaper ads or word-of-mouth about our new beginner bridge lessons (the BIDDING course) which will meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. And don't forget about the DEFENSE and PLAY OF THE HAND courses which also begin this week.
